STLF'S TRADE UNION
TRADE UNION OF SCHOOL OF TEXTILE – LEATHER AND FASHION
I. Trade union’s Structure
The Executive Committee of the STLF’s Trade union for the 2017 - 2022 term consists of 03 members:
- Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thang – President
- Dr. Dao Thi Chinh Thuy – Vice President
- Dr. Le Khanh Trang – Trade union’s member
STLF’s Trade union includes 03 Trade union divisions for 3 departments, respectively.
II. Objectives, Missions
The STLF's Trade union is a unit directly under the University's Trade union, operating in accordance with the Trade union charter, under the direct management of the University's Trade union, the STLF's Party, and coordinating with the STLF's leaders to implement the objectives and tasks. As follows:
General objectives:
Propagating the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State and tasks of the Trade union.
Representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Trade union members and employees.
Researching to participate in state management, socio-economic management of the industry by contributing ideas to the policies of STLF, the university, and upper levels.
Some specific objectives:
100% of members are fully aware of the Resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the State, regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, of the University and Trade Union at all levels.
100% of Trade union members participate and carry out the campaigns launched by the University's Trade union and the upper-level Trade union.
Striving for more than 95% of trade union members to complete their tasks, of which over 90% complete at a good level or higher according to the annual staff assessment. No member violates disciplines.
Striving to introduce 2-3 elite members to the Party Committee for Party development.
Coordinating with STLF’s board of Deans, Youth Union to organize festival activities on the occasion of March 8th; October 20th; November 20th as well as the University's founding anniversary.
Implementing regulations on coordination with professionals to promptly encourage union members to register to write textbooks and improve educational quality.
Coordinating well with the STLF's leaders in life care, maintaining annual spring excursion and summer vacation activities.
Paying union dues in full and on time.
